These major new features and advancements in Goodnotes’s digital handwriting tech are all coming to Goodnotes 6, as part of your existing plan. They build on the 40+ new features we’ve brought to Goodnotes 6 over the past year.
Ask Goodnotes, an AI-powered question and answer tool right in your notebook!
Your notebooks contain a wealth of ideas and insights. Ask Goodnotes enables you to unlock the full potential of all of that knowledge, giving you the ability to ask questions, get summaries, clarify concepts, and generate interactive quizzes based on your personal notes.
New handwriting editing capabilities make note-taking and organization more fluid and effortless than ever
We know that you're often having to adjust your writing on the fly—whether adding a missing word or making room for more content—and also tidy up your notes after the fact. We're transforming that experience with our new handwriting editing capabilities, which make reflowing, aligning, copy-pasting, and otherwise adjusting handwriting as simple as editing typed text. Try it out by simply selecting some handwriting the Lasso tool, then using the resize, align, cut, copy, paste, and other functions! Say goodbye to lassoing or rewriting your handwriting just to make small adjustments!
Math Assist, because don't we all need help with math sometimes?
It’s as simple as writing an equal sign after a math equation, expression, or function! Math Assist will recognize it instantly and provide solutions and suggestions. It can even suggest next steps for advanced math including trigonometry and calculus.
Availability
These new features are all available as part of Goodnotes’ existing plans:
- Ask Goodnotes is now available in Goodnotes 6 to all users worldwide with a paid plan, at no additional cost, in all languages (excepting regions with restrictions).
- The new handwriting editing features are now available in Goodnotes 6 to users worldwide, at no additional cost. It is initially available in English, with more language support coming soon.
- Math Assist is rolling out in Goodnotes 6 to users worldwide, at no additional cost. It is initially available in English notes, with more language support coming soon.
