We do not monitor or view the content of our Users’ Content. Therefore, we have created tools for reporting User Content which may violate the Terms or infringe the intellectual property rights of others.
We take all reports of violations of our Terms or alleged infringement of rights seriously. We will investigate each one so that our Services remain a safe and respectful space. If you believe that your rights (including intellectual property rights) have been infringed by material uploaded by a User, please submit a complaint by submitting a form here.
When completing the form, copyright holders who believe their works have been copied in a way that constitutes copyright infringement will be asked to supply evidence of their copyright work and the infringement. Trade mark owners must include details of their trade mark rights, what exactly they protect and in which regions. For all other intellectual property right infringements or violations, please follow the relevant steps in the form and Goodnotes will be in touch shortly.

If you are accused of uploading and sharing infringing or unlawful content we will be in contact with you, but we will provide you the opportunity to submit a counter-notice to prevent cases of mistake or misidentification.
We are entitled to take appropriate action in response to a complaint, in our sole discretion in accordance with the Terms, including removing, rejecting or disabling access to any User Content, and terminating the accounts of repeat infringers. You may contest decisions made by Goodnotes and you will have 3 months to lodge a complaint against any decision.
In intellectual property right infringement cases, we may forward details of the complaint, as well as the complainant’s contact information, to the user who posted the allegedly infringing content. Additionally, if we remove or disable access to the content pursuant to a valid DMCA notice, GoodNotes will immediately notify the user that the content has been removed or disabled.
