When it comes to scoring student answers with Goodnotes Classroom, the foundations are simple: Prepare your assignment with Answer Zones, and set up the score with the scoring widget.

Preparing your assignments:
- You can use the Answer Zone tool to outline the areas of any worksheet or assignment where students will be writing their answers.
- The scoring widget allows you to quickly add what each question is worth (e.g. Question 1 is worth 5 points)
Start grading
- Switch to "Teaching Mode" to view all of your students' submissions
- Tap on each Answer Zone to assign points (e.g. 2 out of 2, 3 out of 5)
- The points will be automatically updated and synced for each student
Tip: You can also switch to "View by Questions" mode to grade all student responses for a single question at once
